I'm a software/web developer based out of Regina, SK.

When I was growing up, every spare minute I could spend on the computer was a minute well spent. I remember the thrill of managing my own silly website on Geocities, getting lost in editing photos, and even attempting to tweak the Windows registry in hopes of sending out some hilariously misguided alerts. Looking back, they probably weren't as funny as I thought at the time!

However, my journey to becoming a developer wasn't exactly a straight line. Despite my comfort with technology, I initially believed my future career lay within content creation, studying film production at university. While I still hold a passion for film, ultimately it was not the right fit for me. Feeling uncertain about how my passions and skills fit together, I changed course once again and embarked on a decade-long stint in the hospitality industry as a bartender and manager. It was during this time that I honed the bulk of my soft skills: The importance of customer service, time management, effective communication, leading a team, and an unwavering dedication to being the best at the job.

Armed with a full toolkit and a reinvigorated interest in technology, I set out to finally further my education. Through dedicated study and hands-on projects, I've gained proficiency in languages and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (to name a few), earning my diploma with distinction along the way. Now, I'm actively seeking opportunities to apply my skills and contribute to meaningful projects that align with my passions and expertise.
